A pet cat named Stuart, who ran away from his owner in 2014, has been found in the United States. This is reported by WGME-TV.
Rose Dorian sheltered a black cat when she lived in the city of Portland, Maine. The pet would sometimes stay away from home for long periods of time, but would always return. However, in 2014, Stewart disappeared. And it happened a few weeks before Dorian was supposed to move to New York.
The woman was never able to find the cat before moving to another state. She did, however, keep his papers and chip information. A few years later, Dorian returned to Maine, and she recently received a call from an animal shelter.
“They were like: ‘Oh, we called because we have a cat here and he has your phone number.’ And even before they said that, I was like, ‘Is this Stuart here? – says the American. – And I’m standing in the corridor, people are looking at me, and I shouted: “What does he look like? He’s really big, like six and a half kilos.” My brain just… I mean, I couldn’t believe it.”
