British actor Kit Harington has spoken out about the mental disorder he was diagnosed with relatively recently. The 37-year-old actor, who played in the TV series “Game of Thrones”, talked about his health problems with the authors of the podcast “The Hidden 20%”, a preview of which is quoted by The Times.
According to Harington, he was diagnosed with ADHD – attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which is usually diagnosed in childhood – at a rehab clinic where he was trying to improve his mental health. “I realised my life depended on it. Fortunately, I was in the right place at the right time. I was able to start a new life from that moment,” the star of the show admitted.
The actor stated that he first went to rehab in 2019, trying to get rid of alcohol addiction, but he did not like the methodology in which addicted people discuss their problems sitting in a circle. It took him four years to get to the clinic that helped him. “Just my head wants to do everything it can reach,” the artiste described his symptoms.
